you will amanda...you will.
Loved those pic!!! the 1st pic may look like the tornado is not on the ground but It is there can be a connection between the vortex and the ground/dust whirl.
Hi all.... Yeah I know I havn't posted in awhile. It seems I,ve been busy the past two weekends! Anyway I'm back. The weather in my region looks very interesting in my region for the next several days. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop in the vicinity of two boundaries one bieng a weak stationary cool front and the other some sort of surface trough... Severe wx doesn't look likely unfortunantly due to low sheer and instability.
Btw, beautiful pics Dale, Kenny, and Brandon!!!
You guys did a job well done!
Finally there is a mention in the news of the tornado in Iceland last Friday

Tornado spotted in south Iceland
A tornado, which is a very rare sight in Iceland, was spotted on Skeidarársandur plane of sand in south Iceland of Friday. The tornado touched the ground for about five minutes and whirled up sand and dust.
Rain, hail and lighting followed the tornado, as picked up by the Icelandic Meteorological Office’s lightning sensors, Fréttabladid reports.
According to meteorologist Einar Sveinbjörnsson weather conditions that create tornados are very rare in Iceland and therefore tornados aren’t spotted often on the island, though they have been spotted on a few occasions before.
Tornados are most common in the USA’s midwestern states in spring and can cause considerable damage.

"Apparently it was a spectacular lightning show," said Environment Canada meteorologist Lisa Coldwells.
She said the storm began at about 6 p.m. in Drayton Valley and drifted slowly into the Edmonton area at 11 p.m.
Stony Plain was hit hardest with 18.4 millimetres of rain. Downtown recorded only one millimetre.
In Edmonton, 20,000 Epcor customers were affected by 10 power outages citywide, said spokesman Tim le Riche.
That's awesome, guys! So cool that you were all able to get in on the same storm from different sides! :D

nothing yet...i dont think anything is gonna develope soon...red deer seems to have a bit more potential than most i think.
i just wanted to say that i loved the pictures. Brandon, Dale, and Kenny, your pictures were cool . I love the storm structure in Brandon's pictures, ( along with the tornado,) Dale's pictures had some cool contrast and backlighting, and Kenny, i love your picture of the lower- level storm features. i got a digital camera for my birthday and it also has video capacity. i like to try and take pictures of the storms in New England.
More goodies heading for Drayton Valley....
